Why Oil expeller?

Currently, for oil extraction, There are different technologies utilized by people and expeller technology tends to be one among them. Instead of debating which is the best among all three let us understand the ideal outcome everyone is expecting (especially for edible consumption). The Ideal outcome as a manufacturer and a comsumer is that from OIL we expect 100% FAT with the original nutrients, reduced or no free fatty acids and at an affordable price. But here, we miss out on one primary factor which is the environmental support. Do we have enough agricultural support?. The answer is NO, we don't. We do not have good crop production line in terms of both quality as well as quantity. Therefore, utilizing the traditional technologies doesn't help to balance this imbalance rather it makes it even more worse by retaining more percentage of oil in cake during extraction. Hence, to meet out this imbalance, Expeller technology was introduced in the early 20th century. This technology served for the balance in the existing imbalance in the environment. The percentage of oil extracted has improved and comparitively only very less percentage of oil was left in cake. Therefore, this technology satisfied all the expectations of a manufacturer and consumer as well as supported the environment to a greater extent.

How different an expeller is from the traditional ghani?

Expeller technology is continuous production process and a Ghani technology is batch type production process. In Expeller technology the production time is reduced and production rate is increased when compared to ghani. Therefore in terms of quantity, In a given period of time, more quantity of oil can be produced by expeller when compared to ghani. In terms of quality, as oil extracted through expeller technology possess higher shelf life when compared the Ghani.

Can I expect more oil output percentage if I buy an oil expeller?

Comparitively yes, you can expect a better oil output percentage in oil expeller when compared to oil extraction through ghani. But, it is also essential to note that the oil percentage in an oil seed cannot have a certain value as they mostly relies on the condition of the seeds and the methods used for preparation.

Why doesn't the material Move Forward?

As there is excess moisture content in the seed after cooking and there is too much of oil in it, it will result in this problem. The better solution is to reduce the moisture content while cooking and organizing the spaces inside the extraction chamber for the required extraction from the respective seed.

Why High Percentage of Oil in going in Cake?

This issue occurs when the space maintained between different parts are more than required or when the parts are worn out due to long run. The possible solution is to adjust the spacing between parts and limiting the inlet feed and the output. Moreoever exact parts for that respective screw press should be matched on consultation with the manufacturers. And If worn out, It is advised to replace with a new one for a better life

Why oil discharge is heavy at the ends?

This problem occurs when there is no sufficient feed for the press. So the feed rate can be increased to a sufficient level for the respective seeds as suggested by the manufacturer.

Why the oil output is very less?

The reasons for this issue can be due to Improper cooking of the input seeds, Excess amount of moisture in the input seed, improper spacing and setting between the parts and worn out parts on the long run. Hence, the moisture content and cooking time and temperature should be maintained according to the instructions given by the manufacturer with respect to the seed and the manufacturers has to contacted for the service and replacement for the parts.

Why the parts in extraction chamber gets worn out soon?

Due to the presence of small sand, stone and unwanted particles which are not filtered using respective processes which in turn gets into the extraction chamber and wear out the parts soon. Respective seperator and processing machineries should be installed for the required seed for a better efficiency.

Why am i not able to input more seeds?

It is purely because the capacity of expeller that you purchased is lesser. We always suggest and insist you to first study and decide the availability of the seeds and market potential of the oil.
